Four small habits that fit a full work week.
The Desk-Day Plan: a free 9-page guide from a practising doctor. A Malaysian breakfast swap list, a desk-day walking plan and a one-week checklist. No strict diet, no daily gym.
The same four habits I start with in my own consults, made to fit a desk job.
You've tried hard. It just didn't fit your week.
Most of the women I talk to have already tried at least one of these:
- Skipping breakfast or lunch to cut back
- Counting every calorie
- A strict diet that lasted two weeks
- A gym membership, until work got busy
- Weighing yourself every morning
The problem usually isn't discipline.
Big changes don't survive a busy job. Small ones do, if you start with the right one. The guide shows you where I'd start.
What's inside. Things you can use tomorrow.
Four habits, added one every two days, so by Sunday you've tried them all.
Protein first at breakfast
A swap list for roti canai, nasi lemak, kaya toast and kuih, plus a 5-minute option for mornings with no time.
Walk inside your work day
A desk-day walking plan: when to walk, what to do and roughly how many steps each one adds.
One bottle, two refills
One water rule for your desk, and how to move your teh and kopi from kurang manis to kosong.
A fixed time for your phone to go down
One fixed point for sleep, so the other three habits hold.

My scale barely moved. My body did.
I tried these habits on myself first. In four weeks the scale moved 0.4 kg. The InBody scan showed what the scale couldn't.
| Measure | 8 Sep 2026 | 6 Oct 2026 |
|---|---|---|
| Weight | 72.6 kg | 72.2 kg |
| Fat mass | 14.7 kg | 13.4 kg |
| Body fat | 20.2% | 18.5% |
| Muscle mass | 32.7 kg | 33.1 kg |
| Visceral fat level | 6 | 5 |
My own result, measured by InBody body-composition scan. One person's result. Results vary.
Hi, I'm Dr Husain.
A medical doctor in Serdang. I co-founded Klinik Mekar 24 Jam, and I still see patients there part-time.
I don't believe one diet works for everyone. I look at body composition and blood results, not just weight, and build small changes around the life you already have.

Common questions
Is the guide really free?
Yes. Give your name and email, and I'll send the guide to your inbox straight away. It opens on your phone, no sign-in needed.
Will you try to sell me something?
The guide sells nothing. If you later book the paid consult and my 8-week programme would help, I'll explain it once, including what it costs and how I'm paid. If you don't need it, I'll say so.
Do I need to go to the gym?
No. The four habits fit a normal working day. Strength training helps, and I can show you how in a consult, but you don't need the gym every day.
I'm on medication. Can I use the guide?
The guide is general education, not medical advice. Keep following your own doctor, and speak to them before you change anything.
What happens to my email?
I use it to send the guide and, only if you ticked the box, one email a week. Every email has an unsubscribe link. Details are in the privacy policy.
